Online Systems
Red2 provide a wide range of services to support online business models and processes. Over time we have created a number of core components to deal with the majority of requirements, from e-commerce to complex social networking sites.
Our components can be interlinked in different ways; the diagram below shows an end-to-end content integration. Our Dynamic Feed Engine, originally designed to support our travel requirements is purposed to normalise inbound content feeds, allowing them to be atomised within our system. Red-E is part of our core social networking and large-scale content deployments and provides a means of augmenting either third-party content, or user-generated content; adding metadata and organic user-driven meta-information. Finally our Redfeed engine allows content to be delivered to a wide variety of platforms such as Facebook, RSS, Atom feeds and the intended front-end websites.
If you add to this our e-commerce components or our billing solution, your online experience becomes a hugely diverse content and shopping environment.
All the components are exposed as web services allowing you to integrate, interact or expose your content across all environments (Windows, Linux, Unix, and so on). Whilst red2 builds, for the majority, on Microsoft platforms our web services are not Microsoft-specific.
